The bottle was then placed in a dark location and this is what we seen after 8 minutes;)

What happened? The yeast uses sugar as food, and this produces a gas called carbon dioxide. You can't see carbon dioxide. It is a colorless and odorless gas. The carbon dioxide gas in bread dough helps the bread grow up and out. This is what makes bread rise;) Awesome huh?
